We just got back from three nights at the Platinum Hotel on Flamingo. I wanted to let eveyone know how much we liked the place. There's no casino, so this isn't a place for someone who gets comped rooms. But if you're paying, this is basically a whole condo to yourself, full kitchen, balcony that you can eat on and see a great view of the strip, huge bathroom with jetted tub. Lots of hospitality too. We got a great deal of $99/night on an internet promotion, so check it out.

It is very nice... I stayed there many times during '07-'10, as our group hosted meetings. It was our compromise to the members of the group that were somewhat opposed to meeting in Las Vegas. The rooms/suites are VERY comfortable and affordable and to be honest the non-gaming facility was conducive to business. The group now meets at Trump for many of the same reasons.
