    My Trip Report

Last minute-ish weekday trip on a three night comp at Caesar's. Platinum, and within 900 tier credits of Diamond. Shouldn't be hard to jump up pretty quickly. It's been two years since I was Diamond.
Solo this trip. Looking forward to gambling...eating...oggling...no business decisions...no small talk...mindless meandering throughout my oasis aka Vegas. Oh, I forgot the drinking!
First time on Allegiant outbound. Hoping for a smooth experience. The price and schedule was right and I couldn't resist. Wish me luck.

775 TC (in a CET day) will take care of it. (assuming all slot play)

What, do they round up to the 15000 mark for Diamond?

No, but 500 TC in a day incurs a 125 Tier Credit bonus, my bad, corrected my original Post.

775 in a day will get you 900.

Thanks Dailun. Good point on the bonus. That is nice to earn. Do you know if that's a rolling 24 hour day from first coin in or does it start over at midnight?

    In Las Vegas, it's 6AM to 5:59AM, in Reno, it's 5AM to 4:59AM.

Corrected after newmans pointed it out.

After I make 7* I will post the story of how I "lost" 4000 TC by not planning properly.

I'm fairly certain in Vegas it is 6am to 6am.

Thanks guys. I get in tonight after 11: 00 and didn't want to start playing if the cutoff was midnight. Guess I'll just play all night or just wait till Tuesday. Probably be practical and act my age and Not stay up all night.

As far as comps go, if you are staying at CET that night without playing, it might hit your ADT and make it lower. The lower ADT will affect future comps. But if you make up for it the next day by playing more, then your ADT should be fine. There's also a 1,000 bonus at 1,000 tier credits earned, and a 5,000 bonus at 2,500 tier credits earned.

Finally checked in at CP. Platinum line was all mine and got upgraded to Palace Tower from Forum without requesting it. Of course, I showed my appreciation. I've stayed in this tower before while I was Diamond. Great digs!
Allegiant was not terrible as airlines go. Fourty five minutes late taking off, but they managed to make up about 20 minutes. Worst part of the flight was a woman seated in the row ahead of me. She chatted up this UNLV basketball player for 2 1/2 hours incessantly with a voice that could make a monk say " shut up bitch!". Her husband pretended not be bothered, but he has to live with her. Had an exit row window seat which had great legroom. Of course, it was Allegiant, so the seats don't recline. Tolerable and no disasters..that's my assessment.
Long, long day..here are some room picks.[IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG]

I thought the point of Vegas was to NOT act your age. :)

Good luck, and hit them hard.

On my weekend trips, I usually arrive in Reno Friday at midnight. I try to put in a 1000TC day the first night (hoping that I don't get "killed" doing it). Just so that I have "play".

Then I start fresh the next day.

Well, they do call this place (CP) Geezer's. I guess since my wife still insists on telling me not to oggle girls when I come to Vegas, I'm either not a geezer or just a dirty old man. Probably, in truth, just doing what guys do, appreciating the sights.

Why the fan? Do you travel with a fan, or was it in the room? I've never seen a fan in a room before.
