Something new this trip. Planning to hit as many of the strip casinos as we can this trip. I need posters to submit the one "Best Thing To Do" at one casino. It could be a drink, a show, a restaurant, an event whatever. Try to limit it to one thing at one place. To help get the ball rolling here is an example (this unfortunately cannot be done anymore) .99 frozen Margarita at the Ho.
Try to make them budget conscious.

We will try to do as many of the "Best Of" suggestions that we can and then report back. T-7 days.

If you will have a room with a great view, drive to the Hofbrauhaus (across HRH), buy a Sixpack of German Beer and take it to your room and if you stay with friends in Vegas taste this very good Beer and enjoy your View - I love this to do.

This isn't related to a casino. In the evening when all the lights are on, and the air is starting to cool, head to any of the overhead walkways and just take in the view. My favorite is the one between MGM Grand and NY NY.

Martini on the ice bar at Red Square at Mandalay Bay. This was a tradition for years for our annual guy's trip.

    Mechanical Bull in PHo.

2 for 1 beers outside the Rock House

The Peppermill fireside lounge, they only serve appraisers in the lounge but their appraisers are HUGE!!

Rides on top of the Strat. a $30 (ish) dollar pass will let you ride the 3 rides as often as you want in a day. We did this during the night and then used the pass to come back for the evening when it was dark and all the lights were lit up.

Yard of frozen margarita from Slots O' Fun ($7 -ish)

Pirate fight at Treasure Island (if you have never watched it before)

So many of our personal favorite things are gone now (Lions at MGM, etc.). But here are a few I can think of ...

    Mandalay Bay -- Aquarium

Circus Circus -- Chuck Jones exhibit

Bellaggio -- Art gallery (or of course there are the free fountains outside and the free conservatory inside)

Paris -- have a meal at Mon Ami Gabi, sit outside for a view of the fountains. We also love the newer Sugar Factory

Planet Hollywood (well, in the shopping area) -- we've enjoyed the V variety show there and the Marc Savill (sp?) hypnotist show is a hoot

Rio -- their buffet is fun and they also have the carnival in the sky (free) in the casino

Mirage -- Volcano, of course. But they also have a great NY Deli inside that my SO (New Yorker) loves and Siegfried & Roy's Secret Garden

    Treasure Island -- pirate show

MGM Grand -- we enjoyed the KA show. Can't think of much else there to make a trip anymore

    Tropicana -- Mob Experience -- I've heard it's interesting

Flamingo -- they have the new Margariteville Casino that I've heard good things about. We enjoyed the Donny & Marie show there.

Harrah's -- we loved the steakhouse there although I heard it's going to be replaced (not sure when)

Wynn -- we've always loved their buffet, especially for Sunday brunch but I've heard good things about their show, La Reve, as well.

Caesar's Palace -- their new buffet is getting good reviews

Bally's -- I've heard they have an incredible gourmet Sunday brunch. Haven't tried it but it sure looks good!

Luxor -- they've taken out so much that I personally loved about the Luxor but they do have a really nice Titanic exhibit and if you want to see a show, Carrot Top is a scream

Hard Rock -- slightly off strip so don't know if you're interested but they have a great off the menu steak special there in Mr. Lucky's

Riviera -- we haven't been there in the last few trips but I still see it listed -- a steak special at Kady's

Best daytime show: Mac King at Harrah's. Cheap and funny even if you're sober.

Some ridiculous sugary pancakes or french toast covered in chocolate sauce at Sugar Factory @ Paris haha cause you know it's a good day if the first thing you hear is what kind of chocolate do you want on your pancakes?

Go to the mIX lounge at THEhotel at Mandalay Bay, best view in town, hands down.
