What's best for 30s single guy for one night Wednesday next week? All are around $60-$70 (taking resort fee at HRH into account).

Sounds like Cosmo is the place to hang out, but I don't want to blow $140/nt this trip.

Currently booked at Hard Rock, but wondering if Caesars or PH would be more fun. Both are obviously closer to Cosmo.

How is HRH these days? Any scene at center bar or ainsworth midweek? I don't want to be stuck there if its a ghost town. Next week is probably one of the slowest of the year, right?

    Thanks!

I'm a HUGE fan of the Hard Rock and will be there for a couple days next week... but as much as I love the place, I have to be honest... if you've got one-(1) night in Vegas, I'd do Caesar's or PH and if it was me... PH.

The Center Bar at HRH still rocks and gets crowded, but on a Wednesday evening with no large conferences or conventions in town, you're correct the whole town should be on the slow side. The Ainsworth is cool, but small and the only times I've seen it rockin' is when there's a private party that's taken it over.

The gaming floor of the HRH remains slower than most other major properties and slower than I'm sure management would like. The warmer months is when the HRH comes alive with the various pools and people it attracts. I hate to steer you away from my favorite joint, but that week, I'd go where there's more within walking distance.

I only suggest PH over Caesar's for the similar age attraction and location. Caesar's is cool too, but lots of construction goin' on across the street for the Linq Project and IMHO the southern-strip area is the place to be these days.

Planet Hollywood has the finals of the Miss Universe contest going on next Wednesday night, if that makes any difference in your decision. :licklips:

We are checking in that same day. If I had only one night, and it was a Wednesday, I would not want to be as far off the strip as HRH is, so I say go for PH or Caesars.

In my opinion, HRH is nothing like it was several years ago, and factor in that you are only staying one night, I would definitely stay on the strip. Either CP or PH would be fine with me.

Thanks all for the speedy and candid input.

Definitely makes sense to have more options within a short walk. PH standard rooms look much nicer than Caesars (Roman Tower) and are $15 less, so PH it is.

Striphouse is one of my favs in NYC, so that doesn't hurt either.

Agreed on prior suggestions. Stay at P.Ho. and you can walk across the street and check out Cosmo. I have nothing against Hard Rock, but it's a small casino and it is isolated and away from the strip.

P.Ho. is a hip place, still has a relatively new casino smell, and is right in the middle of the action. You'll have PLENTY of entertainment, eating, gambling, and ogling options in every direction.

I personally dislike staying at PH, the rooms are just meh, and so is the parking situation, but there is so much to do there is could be a good choice... It's also in the best location possible. My last solo trip I had many trips to Earl of Sandwich, and I did shopping and gambling there!
