Pics always enhance a review, thank you. PH is one of the few places I've never stayed. I enjoy the casino and have been to a lot of shows there. One of these trips I'll stay there.

My Son was the first to stay in the room they put him in over New Years. I thought it was great and I'm not going to lie, was a bit jealous and we were in a strip suite!

Having stayed in both of those rooms now, I would prefer the Ultra Hip! The decor in the Ultra Hip beats the Strip Suite imo. It will be nice to see what their next steps are in the renovations.

Great review. Many thanks. I stayed there once in 2012 and you said it in your review the rooms seemed dark/lacking enough light.

I agree... I stayed there in September (Hip Room) and not much light. The window is small as well so that doesn't help during the day. I'm not loving the looks of the Ultra Hip room but it's a good improvement.

Thanks for that thoughtful review. I priced those rooms for my june trip and they wanted $350 per night for the fountain view. For comparison, i booked cosmo 1 bedroom terrace fountain view for $180 per night! I think they are asking way too much for that room, but I guess someone is willing to pay.

I agree, it looks a bit serile like Delano. Very plain. Definitely fresher - but throw some color in there!

Their website only lists the Hip King/Queen/Accessible as being updated into Ultra Hips so far. The regular Resort Room is still there on the website. So I'm going to say probably not as far as I know..

Yeeeah... I love the Delano, but sometimes I wake up and wonder if I'm colorblind. :confused2:
