We have pretty much always stayed in a Flamingo GO Luxury with View room and we will this weekend again (can't wait). But, since I'm such a Vegas addict, I was already looking at what we could get comped for our May trip. We haven't been able to in the past, and they could go away at any time, I know, but right now we can get a Premium Fountain View or Resort room at PHo. I know the differences in the properties, etc. I just don't know which one of these is considered the nicer room. View is important to us. We could also get comped a Red Room Premier at Paris, which we've never had before.

Of the three, which would you choose, or stay with the GO? Thanks.

The Flamingo in May might be a problem due to the construction of Linq, so i would bypass that. I have stayed in Paris and Planet Hollywood (mostly Bally's) but i would take the Planet Hollywood room like yesterday. I have RIO comped in May although i usually stay on the Strip but no comps except for the Flamingo and The Quad.
I say the HO by a long shot. If i had enough points on my TR card i would've stayed at the Ho, but i will be on the Strip most of the time anyways.
The pool at the HO is far below Flamingo, but you might be able to frequent the Flamingo pool with a TR card, correct me if i'm wrong.

People have reported that the flamingo isn't bad! Even despite the construction. It might take a little bit of navigating around, But I too am staying there in May. Not worried in the least! I hear the blue rooms at Planet Hollywood suck but the red rooms are great.

Paris Red Room Premier for sure. I believe the premier means that it has a strip view (someone correct me if I'm wrong). I personally don't like the basic rooms at Paris, as the beds suck and they have tube TVs, but the red rooms are nice.

Agree with previous poster, Paris Red Room Premier are very nice rooms, only beaten out by PHo Resort View rooms with the tub / window looking out at the strip.

PHo standard resort rooms have slightly nicer bath then Paris since they are larger and have a deep soaking tub. These are in the shorter towers that jut out strip side or on the backside in middle of main tower.

PHo room maintenance has gone way down during the past 12 months, so although I feel like the gambling has been better for me (stayed 3 out of 6 trips last year).

Stanard fountain view rooms at PHo are not so great since there is a small window, and way too much furniture in the standard rooms IMHO.

I alternate between Paris & Flamingo Go - regardless of room type at Paris. I find them both comfortable hotels with good food choices.

Disadvantage to Red (or regular) with a view can be the noise from the club by Sugar Factory. One of the fellows in the elevator with me last fall indicated he stuffed toilet paper in his ears to try to get rid of the noise.

Disadvantage to Go with a view can be if the view is directly facing Caesars - you can also get a lot of club noise. However, south facing view is great with good fountain view. And the street noise from Flamingo is actually less annoying than the club noise.

My GO room in November faced the gardens (and linq) but I had no noise problems - however I was also at the south end of the gardens vs. the Linq being at the northeast. I'm sure those by Quad directly will get a lot more construction noise.
