Does anybody know which books offer future bets on the World Cup? I will be there in a couple of weeks and wouldn't mind throwing down a few bucks on futures odds. I've never paid attention to soccer lines in Vegas so I have no clue which books even offer them.

Any of you know if LVH also has single game lines up yet? I know the offshore books do, I'm just curious if LVH does as well or if it's still too far away for that.

I was at Wynn a couple of days ago, they are taking bets to win the cup, and to win each group. Got Italy at 18-1 to win the entire thing and 5/2 to win their group. Honduras is 1000-1 US is 100-1 Russia is 50-1 Brazil is favored at 1/2.

The manager said about a month before the start they will start offering lines on individual matches and prop bets.

Thanks a lot for the info arrgy. I was hoping to bet individual matches but I figured it was way too far out still. I will definitely be picking a few group and overall winner bets though while Im there.

Is Brazil 1/2 or 2-1 to win it all? Offshore odds were sitting at about 3-1 and I know Vegas soccer odds aren't the best but 1/2 seems like a huge difference.

I wouldn't touch 1/2 on Brazil with a sh*t covered stick, that is frankly ridiculous!
Here in the UK they are best price 10/3 (so a shade over 3/1), and I think that is a little on the skinny side.
They are 1/3 over here to win the first game vs Croatia (1 game, not the entire tourney)!

It probably does not make sense for a UK visitor to bet on any event in Vegas, if they can place a bet in UK. Someone mentioned taking 14/1 on Italy! What sort of price is that?:rolleyes2: There is plenty of 28/1 available in UK. From what I have seen, this is a common theme.

The only exceptions I can imagine are the really US-centric sports like college football/basketball and so on, where UK odds might not be available.
