One scenario: The rest of the NL East comes down with chicken pox and the Phillies 73 wins sweeps them into the postseason.

Come on give me some odds!

Odd odd odd odd odd odd odd

How many more do you want? I can type plenty more. I have about two more hours here in SLC before my flight to Jackson Hole.

I wish you well Breeze! Same odds as a Phlly-Red Sox World Series this year! We can dream big, can't we?

It's so hard to believe Amaro is STILL the GM. That lineup has 3 guys that wouldn't start on another team, the rotation after Hamels, the minor league system. Lehigh has a bunch of guys from failed trades. Untradeable contracts for Papelbon and Howard. Somehow he's still there.

I can see them buying out Howard, he can't even hit a fastball anymore. So sad.

Papelpon might be a dick, but he is still an awesome competitor. I can see somebody taking a chance on him for a stretch run.

The Phillies are the classic example of long term, huge contracts to hometown favorites and trading away draft picks and prospects for quick fixes.

I saw this coming as far back as 2010. Kudos to Jimmy Rollins for getting out of there.
