    Hi,

We'll be traveling and would like to stay in Las Vegas (preferably on the strip) but we'll have to cats with us. Do any Strip Hotels (or elsewhere) allow for cats? I doubt it but would be interesting to know in case we decide to stay there.

    Thanks in advance....

From what I see it is dogs only. I did see a posting where the La Quintas allow cats and do not charge a fee - but you have to sign a waver. Maybe a La Quinta near the strip?? Val

I'm guessing a lot of hotels are weary of cats in case if owners don't declaw them.

My mom didn't declaw her last cat and it showed on the furniture. :(

Like others said, CET allows dogs, but I see no info about cats. You might check with the Westin Casuarina as they say "pets under 40 lbs" so cats might be an option there.

No, they don't want cats because cat urine absolutely RUINS floors.

I ran into this when renting a house a few years ago, and same requirement: dogs only. I thought that was interesting and asked by and it's because cat urine literally wrecks the floor beneath the carpet.

About a year ago or so at Caesar's this lady was getting her bags checked by the bellman and had a small jaguar or a leopard or some type of jungle cat in her arms on a leash, hahahah. I'm sure she was a high roller or something and had special plans in advance, but, I did see a 'cat' there.

Edit: After some Google research, I will say that I'm fairly sure it was an Ocelot.
