So if you follow the Mayan calendar,... and the conspiracy theorists, Dec 21 is supposed to be the end of the world. Therefore, I have timed my "last trip to Vegas" perfectly. Four nights of debauchery Dec 16-20. Flying home just in time to decompress and wait for the dreaded solar flare, super volcano eruption, tsunami, tidal wave or flying pig to end my days on this earth!
    Couldn't have timed it better!

Since my wife and I have 2 trips to Vegas booked in 2013, I sure hope the prediction is wrong or maybe we can hit the lottery tomorrow to be able to book a trip December. LOL!! Have a great trip and give us a trip report.

I just bought tickets for Rock of Ages on 12/21. It is for the early show. Hopefully the end will hold off until the show concludes.
If i gotta go, I might as well "rock out". :drunk:

Might as well blow all the money in Vegas that we'll save from not having to do any Xmas shopping this year! :)

My Lady's birthday is December 21. I'm getting her present on a credit card so I never have to pay for it.

We are flying in on the 21st; ETA 8:40 AM so hopefully the end of the world doesn't happen until near the end of the day. Otherwise, I guess we will experience if from 30,000 feet.

But when you fly home on the 20th it will already be the 21st in some parts of the world so your chances of being in the air during the soalr flare/ cataclysm are great.

    Dear World,
Please stop freaking out about 2012.
Our calendar ends there because some Spanish ******bags invaded our country
and we got a little busy, ok?
    Sincerely,
    The Mayans

We had a room reserved & everything planned for that last "end of the world" 1999 at Disney but then my Grandfather moved in with us & that was out.

We're supposed to be in Vegas from the 19-22 but right now the Mayans are messing with me it is looking like we may not go.

I would like to be somewhere fun for at least one of the ends of the world.

No worries....I was thinking the same thing just today (a certain scene from the movie 2012 came to mind) because we are headed there this month too. But I was told today the Mayans didn't know about leap year and the world should have ended sometime back in the summer. Looks like we are off the hook, whew! Lol. And I probably shouldn't bet all my retirement fund after all.

But serious, people! We should all make a vow not to eat eachother, when it comes to it, we'll join forces and eat "the others"!
