The only $100 slot returns reported in the American Casino Guide are from Connecticut now that NJ does not report by denomination. I'm pretty sure they used to report the $100 returns on the Strip but not now. Does anyone know if these figures are still kept and if so where?

Interesting doc, Tringlomane! I wish they tracked UTH...that would be the deciding factor for me quitting cold-turkey, or for me going back to playing it full steam ahead! Right now, I have dropped to roughly 25% UTH and 75% slots...drastic change from a year ago. Other than at Aria, UTH has been my death game.

Hold numbers for table games are always iffy to begin with, because it depends on players' behavior as well.

My local casino got hit hard at standard blackjack in August... and $100 slots

TABLE UNITS DROP AGR HOLD %
    Blackjack 1 42,700.00 (22,642.50) -53.027%

Most of their games are this though...
TABLE UNITS DROP AGR HOLD %
    Blackjack plus 3 28 4,014,907.00 451,191.00 11.238%

    And UTH that month...
TABLE UNITS DROP AGR HOLD %
    Ultimate Texas Hold'em 2 879,563.00 171,144.00 19.458%

And the hammering of the $100 slots...someone got lucky!!! I couldn't even tell you were these machines are...:evillaugh
SLOT ACTUAL UNITS HANDLE AGR PAYOUT %
    $100.00 2 378,200.00 (97,900.00) 125.886%

Even with these poor results in these areas...still the top grossing boat in Missouri at $21.88M in winnings for August. Volume, volume, volume!!!!

If you play UTH using optimal strategy, these numbers really don't matter.

Wow...that BJ figure...wonder if they got hit by a team. The $100 slots seems reasonable, especially if there are not that many and if they rarely get played...a few lucky hits in that scenario will definitely tilt the payout into the 100+%.

I'm guessing that BJ table with no gimmick side bet is high limit. And looking at the drop amount, it isn't played a bunch either. I think it was bad luck on their end too. However, I have periodically been staring at MO data for years. That is the worst table hold I've ever seen. But like I say, still top grossing boat in MO. Mainly thanks to this....

SLOT UNITS HANDLE AGR PAYOUT %
    1 cent 1,726 110,017,988.96 13,348,543.46 87.867%

I wish I could get this kind of data from our Indian casinos.

Indeed, I'm spoiled in Missouri. They are really transparent with gaming data. Even more transparent than Nevada! :confused2:

As for UTH though as long as you play near optimal strategy and they don't take an extra rake, you're good. Also I would think the Cali slots are still "competitive" vs. the Strip at least. Maybe a little worse, but not by a lot.

I actually feel Cali slots are looser than strip casinos...but that just may seem so because I play at the locals so much.

The UTH Trips pay table is definitely better at the local Indian casinos, compared to the strip. One local, which I rarely visit since it is a bit of a drive, actually has the full-pay Trips Pay table...and they deal all the players cards face-up!
