I'm planning a trip for my family this summer. We are considering staying at Harrah's or Flamingo and we will have a rental car. With the construction going on; what choices will we have when we want to leave for the day from these hotels?

Valet parking is more convenient in both of the places.

The garage is closer to the hotel/casino at Flamingo than it is at Bally's. The garage at Bally's is shared with Paris and connects via the Paris end of the walkway. There's a smaller surface lot by the Bally's sports book, but it's almost as far away as the garage.

The garage at Flamingo is often times almost full and somewhat awkward to maneuver within. The garage at Ballys/Paris always has plenty of space.

As the previous poster mentioned - always use valet at both properties. Keep in mind however that on busy weekends and holidays both valets (especially the flamingo) will fill up and only allow diamond & seven stars to valet on occassion.

If you go to google maps and zoom in on the area you can see it diagramed pretty well there. Once you come and go a couple of times it will be easy for you.

Tip #1 - when approaching via Flamingo from the west, make sure you get over to the right lane well before the turn as it is so busy it is sometimes hard to move over to the right lane - and use Battista's hole in the wall as the landmark knowing that is where you need to turn.

Another tip - if you have a gps/Garmin bring it with as it will help you get around very easily and also find the nearest in and out burger.

"Mr. Lincoln" will sometimes help out in this case. "Mr. Hamilton" will usually do it, but sometimes it's necessary to escalate to "Mr. Jackson", and I've only found one time that didn't work. (Caesars, last trip over the holidays.)
