I'm going to stay at Bally's next month and was told we can use the pool at Paris since theirs will be closed. Has anyone used it during the winter? Looking at pictures online, I can't see how it would be very warm but hopefully I'm wrong?! :poke:

I stayed at Paris for 5 days in July and loved their pool. Although I am 28, I am not huge into the pool scene. I like something a little less crowded and quieter and less assuming. The Paris pool is perfect.

We stayed at Planet Hollywood a couple of years ago in mid-November when the weather was very cool, and our room overlooked the Paris pool. We only saw one person use the pool during our stay. Of course, we weren't looking out the window the entire time! Anyways, it definitely was not busy!

I am curious how the pool works out for you in December. I am going in January, and the weather will probably be similar.

When I went in July, the Paris Pool got busier late morning. The buildings block the sun until late morning, so it will probably be chilly until late morning.

We have gone a few times in December and January with visions of pool time in our heads only to find out the weather was not good enough. Hop you have a good weather luck!

We're going in two weeks, staying at Paris...just checked the weather and it's highs in the 50s, lows in the 30s...even heated, I'd think the walk from the hotel to the pool would be CHILLY. That said, we did enjoy our time there in March...while it was still a bit cool, the drinks were good and music was not too much. Not too crowded...and did I mention the drinks...drink special 2-for-1...it was all good after a couple rounds!

I'll definitely let you guys know how it turns out. Now it is in the 70's but like texdan said it looks like its going to be in the 50's in two weeks...hopefully the forecast is wrong!

The pool was freezing cold when we were there earlier this year in both May and September when it was 85-90 degrees outside.
I can't imagine really swimming in it during the winter but we will be there in five weeks so I guess that we will find out.
Please let us know after your visit. Enjoy!

The pool is "heated" but 74 degrees in terms of swimming water is COLD. Even in the summer when it's 110 degrees outside, the pool is still ice cold. I've been in the pool in january before it is unbearable for any extended length of time. The hot tubs are nice though.
