We are staying at Paris in a couple weeks. We almost always stay here, and we are always lowly Gold; however, we get hit-and-miss upgrades by asking.

Here's my question: I am now Platinum, which I know doesn't mean a whole lot, but do you think my upgrade chance has increased? I don't have my new card yet but plan to stop by the TR desk and get it before we check in.

If you were in my shoes, what upgrade would you request? We are in the basic room and have gotten both the Blue P room and Red P room as upgrades before. Sometimes when I say the view doesn't matter, we get a better upgrade.

Thanks for your help! I can hardly wait to get out there again....

I am Diamond and fee upgrades are hit or miss on a regular basis @ Paris. Usually depends on how crowded the hotel is and the mood of the clerk even tho we check in at the Diamond Check In where they are supposedly given more freedom to satisfy their bigger gamblers. Good luck!

I think all upgrades, in all circumstances are hit or miss. It depends on what they have available. Maybe call and ask if you want to be sure?

I am Plat and we asked for upgrade at check in last August. It was only by upsell. That said, we took the deal on a Calais Suite for 75 per night. Worth it to us. The standard price for that suite for our stay would have been just over 2K I also think the upgrade price may me factored by your ADT/gaming history, but not sure. It may have helped that it was my 50th B-Day during my stay.

We arrive at Paris on Monday and leaving Friday with a standard red room comp. Will try for the free upgrade again and see what happens. Will let you know how that goes.

On a side note. Two years ago at CP, they moved us from Forum to Augustus Tower without batting an eye.

I am Platinum and I usually just take what they give me at check in. Paris is the first hotel I've stayed at where I wasn't automatically given some sort of upgrade in a good while. That being said, the room I did get was pretty nice considering it was a blue room.

It's a little late, but if you log into My TR and check the room rate calendar, your upgrades should already be available. Then, if you are lucky, you'll get another upgrade upon arrival.

I'm Platinum as well, and there are usually 3 or 4 room options at Paris for my comped stay by choosing them through the rate calendar. Then about half the time, without asking or using the $20 sandwich, I get upgraded again.

Make sure you do get your new Platinum card before you check in, because they have a Platinum check-in line there that will save you about a half hour wait at times!

Thanks, everyone!! Looking forward to at least attempting.... Maxbet, I'll be curious to hear how it went for you. We are staying Sun-Th, so I hope that helps our case.

I try to stay at Paris when I visit Vegas and find it hit and miss when asking for a upgrade. Doesn't hurt to ask good luck with the attempt, either way it goes have fun at Paris.

Well no complimentary upgrades for us last week, only upsell. We did upgrade to a LeMans Suite for 60 dollars per night. 31st floor, view of Bally's, Harrahs, V/P and Wynn off in the distance. A larger room at that price works for me. My only complaint(s), there should really be a tv in the bathroom area and there were no robe hooks anywhere in there. Also, make sure they are not adding in the resort fee. Showed up on my bill daily, taken care of when I checked out.
