I always thought if I stayed at Paris I would ask for an upgrade to a Red Room. Now that I have a Red Room Luxury booked what should I ask for? I have seen a couple Youtube videos of P Rooms and they look like a nice upgrade. Or should I go for a Red Room Premier. And finally, should I take a Blue P room over a Red Luxury room? To give you some background, I picked the Red Luxury over the Blue Premier because the Pillowtop Mattress and Flat Screen TV in the Red Rooms was more important to me than the fountain view.

Sorry for the long question....Just getting excited about the trip, and these are the things I think about when a trip is this close.

I would take the pillowtop mattress vs. a view (that doesn't really help with the P question).

However, that being said.....when I stayed there a few months back I had new bedding in my blue room. It was not pillowtop but it was a LOT more comfortable than the old bedding. So you could at least ask if you take a blue room for one with new bedding (maybe they have changed it all by now). Old beds were pretty hard - I figured I would do one night & if my back started hurting I would ask how much to upgrade to Red. I actually never had to as I slept better on the new bed in my regular room than I do in my bed at home!!!

Your gonna miss that nice TV if you choose a "P" room. Stayed in one twice this year and they come with a king sized bed (felt great to me) and a smaller tube type TV.

The advantage is the quiet room and your own keyed hallway that you share with another room. Oh, and you get a real closet and a writing desk as well.

I thought P rooms were at the ends of the halls and came in both the blue and red variety? Wouldnt the red P rooms have the amenities of the Red rooms?

They are at the ends of the halls.
I've stayed in 2 different ones, both with blue carpet and blue furniture, a tiny as heck TV, 3 phones (one next to the toilet), king size bed, and big windows on 2 walls overlooking the Bellagio fountains.

There may be some red ones that are upgraded. Never been in one of those! :grrr:

Hope you get a red one!

We've stayed in a P Red Room a couple times (two and three summers ago, respectively), and I believe we had a big flat screen along with the king bed. The view was OK (not as good as it sounds like the Blue P Room), but OK. Room was spacious and very nice for a four-night stay. Best of luck!
