We are in LV now and have such a great room...wanted to share the number for those who may be staying there in the future. We are in 2974 & have a great fountain view...it is one of the remodeled "purple" rooms they did when making the change to "Red Rooms". Great room to ask for. :)

Thanks for the post. What was the up charge for the fountain/pool view?
    Thanks!

    Hi sybgal.

Can you explain to me what the purple rooms are?

I've stayed in one of those old blue rooms back in 2005, and I've stayed in a red room luxury last year, but not heard of or seen purple rooms?

    Thanks!

    Sounds great, sybgal.
Paris is a real nice property but their entry level rooms (so-called Luxury) don't really do the place justice. I don't ever see the nicer rooms there comped for me, though:-(

    Would like to see it

I'd like to see the room changes. How about posting a picture?

Hubby going to see if he can get a good shot with his iPad to post when we get home. When Paris did the Red Rooms...at the end of the reno - they did many in Purple/gold/green that are just another color scheme...very nice rooms.

Other couple went home this morning and we are slowing down a bit...lol. Lots of rain last 2 days - thunder woke us up this morning too. Gutters are flooded but there are still folks roaming around on the strip. Had breakfast at The Sugar Factory. The omelets are very good but huge....we could have shared a meal. Our table had a nice people watching strip view and had it been a nice morning...kind of reminds me of Mon Ami Gabi sans the fountains.
Not sure why but many of the remaining Asian tour women are dressed in evening dresses at 4:00...maybe heading out to a show. It is a little odd seeing hundreds tromping along hallways dressed in FORMAL evening wear in the middle of the day...oh well. :)
Going to be going to Jersey Boys soon - then dinner and more slots. I'm now about 700+ away from Diamond...I am on a mission... lol! Will post more later...

I made diamond in July at Paris. Very nice diamond Lounge, and it was nice that they had a separate room off the lobby for diamond check-out.
