I just saw the option for a Burgundy room pop up while looking for a room at Paris. Has anyone had a chance to check them out yet?

I saw that option too earlier today. Happy to see Paris has finally renovated some rooms. I didn't book it because I was concerned I'd get downgraded on check in to a red room with the "none available" excuse and I really did not enjoy my red room stay in December. Would like to try it once the renovation is further along though.

It's gotta be the new renovated rooms--cool! They look nice!

    Definitely a nice improvement.

I thought I saw a pic for a different color scheme that was more red/burgundy. I wonder if they are going to keep two different room classes.

Thanks for the replies. We have 5 nights comped in a Resort room at PH for the SEMA show in Nov and am debating switching over and trying out the new rooms.

I am curious too. I usually get a comped red room. But must have gambled less and getting a partial discount. Saw the Burgundy discounted and also was curious. anyplace else to check to see if people have stayed? thx

I was just comped a Burgandy room, too. We usually stay in the Red P room at the end of the hall (actually, I thought we were getting a remodeled Augustus room, so I was pretty surprised to see this). I have an email in asking how this room compares to the Red P. I'll let you know what I find out.

Well, all I got was that it's the "upgraded room" in Paris now. Not much info. Sorry!

I stayed in one on my trip a couple weeks ago. It did have a fridge, empty, no minibar. No freezer part either, but plenty roomy for my drinks and snacks. Glasses, coffee machine, nice TV in the wardrobe. I put lots of photos in my last TR.

I had a brand new room, the only drawback was when they were working on refurbishing the room next door and construction noise started at 7am, despite the letter saying they wouldn't start until 10am on the desk.

The other thing I thought was odd, was the magnifying mirror on the wall in the bathroom. I'm 6' tall, but the mirror was a little high for me. I can't imagine a "vertically challenged" person trying to use it for anything without the benefit of a step stool.

I love the Paris casino and the pH casino, but if they don't hasten these upgrades, I'm just going to continue staying at the other properties. My room at the Linq was amazing, can't say that for the non-ultra hip rooms at pH -- I heard they're dirty. And, I hear Paris is worse.

Just not about the rooms at Paris but the restrooms in the casino are really showing age.

Thanks, I just checked out your TR. We did end up changing our reservation to the Paris Burgundy room, but I am concerned with all of the reviews about the construction noise. I generally don't go to bed until the sun comes up in Vegas and will not be a happy camper if construction is happening next door...

Lol, I do enjoy the PH. It's just that we've stayed at PH 3 times in the last 5 months. That and Paris is like a whole 3 minutes closer to the monorail.

I would tell them that at check in. I'm not sure if they will know which rooms are next to work on but it can't hurt to try to get one away from any renovations.

I think they may be going room by room. My room was new, based on the carpet smells and some styrofoam still stuck to the inside of the wardrobe cabinet and drawers. I was the 2nd to last room at the end of the hall. Walking past the other rooms in my hallway while housekeeping had doors open, all the other rooms had been done and the noise was coming from the room next to me at the end of the hall.
