I know they offer wifi in the palms but do the suites offer wired internet? The web site says "in room internet and wifi"

Maybe someone who stayed there can comment?

I phoned reservations but i wasnt convinced of her answer. She says no wired internet in that tower.

    Thanks

Wifi. They had it. Neither my wife nor I got it to work. The concierge told us how to use it, but that did not help. Even though we were following the written instructions also.

But, we did not try that hard. We would try a couple times, then leave the room.

I don't recall an ethernet access anywhere in the room, but we stayed there in May 2013, so the memory is pretty fuzzy.

    WiFi Trickery

    Hi trellaine........

I did not see a hard wire option in our room, that's not to say it wasn't there somewhere but I don't think so.

The real trickery is the "free wi-fi " that comes with the resort fee is only twelve hours/day and is 560 speed, if you want faster than that it is an additional fee. I think 1.2 was an additional $4.95/day, and the next speed up was $9.95/day as I recall.

    Rip off?

Wow, thats crazy. First Vegas hotel I have seen with that tier system. Seems like a real cash grab to me.

But resort fee is $20/day correct?

Most hotels charge more from my research, anywhere from 20-28?

And I am assuming the wifi is for one device only?

I will have iphone which I can run on $3/day from tmobile and just need to run the ipad.

    Wired

Oh update. Sorry I just received an email from the Palms.....

... in regards to wired internet, we do provide that as well. But you'll have to provide your own USB wire.

    Cool :)

    Answered my question.
