Figured I'd stay somewhere I've never stayed before and I guess the Palms Place 1 BR Suite won the lottery. Looks nice enough and it's hard to find 1000 + square feet for under $200/night, so why not.

For anyone who has ever stayed there, is there a stereo system in the main / living room?

If so, is there a CD player and/or AV plug to connect an ipod?

Just hoping the only thing to listen to some music on is not a clock radio or the television set.

    Thanks in advance.

    Great Place !

Overall the best stay I have ever had in Vegas......and really that is saying a lot as I have been treated very well almost everywhere over the last thirty six years.

The Place staff is outstanding, as are the bartenders and dealers in the casino. It will definitely be my home base for the foreseeable future.

No stereos in the suites though......but there are DVD players for the televisions.

    I think it's a door key actually........

I tried to figure out a way, I had visions of all those free toilet paper rolls off the maids cart flying willy nilly off the 53rd floor balcony

Not really , but I would have loved to been able to get some photos of the Strip without dealing with the reflection. Would have been fun to sit out there and have breakfast too, but I do understand the reasons.....all that TP floating about and over to the Gold Coast :wink2:

We stayed at Palms Place last time and for the most part is was pretty good. We have also stayed at the Platinum before and will go back there next time. I liked having the balcony at the Platinum. And it was easier walking to the strip for us also. Dont get me wrong, Palms place was fine. But to me the Platinum was just better because of the balcony at night.
