    Which one wins...

The things I am most interested in are in-room technology...ie. Wireless internet, HD TV, large HD TV's, restaurants and not busy casino. I will be there during the week, so rates will be decent and should not be too busy.

    what are your thoughts ?

Have stayed at Palms and loved it. They extended their cyber Monday sale as I was just looking at their pricing this morning fo a trip in the spring.

Check this out... sadly Gin (the girl that is) doesn't come with the room. Gin, the booze does!

    http://www.hardrockhotel.com/las-vegas-hotel/suite-tower/supreme-corner-king-suite#video

I stay in this room (corner suite) for $125-$200/night depending on how busy the Hard Rock is. The regular King Suite can be had for far less and it's the same thing, just one less bank of windows and they're not at the end of the hall obviously. I prefer that. BTW... all rooms in the HRH Tower are these suites. Even the rooms with 2 queens are extremely similar.

The wireless intent is included in the "dreaded" resort fee of $22, as is a kick-ass workout facility. The internet blazes!!! The restaurants range from a high-end steakhouse (35 Steaks & Martinis) to an outstanding oriental joint (FU) to a hip, high-quality pub restaurant called Culinary Dropout. Pink Taco, Mr. Lucky's 24/7 (diner), NOBU (sushi) and Ainsworth are other dining options as well.

The bed is one of the most comfortable I've EVER been in and I've stayed in damn near every place in town.

Nothing wrong at all with Palms either... my HRH host moved over there and gave me a tour recently. It looks great! I just have religiously stayed at Hard Rock 40-50 nights a years for the past 5 years now and LOVE it.

I love the Palms and as stated above you can book VERY cheap right now. Don't forget about Palms Place. The regular rooms there are 600 sq feet and they have amazing deals on their 1200 sq ft suites, that's what I booked for May. HR is fun too but I prefer the Palms.

I really miss him... Super Guy!!! I really considered switching
just for him and may still split the visits... he's really the reason I became enamored with Hard Rock in the first place!

Ha! Yep, that's him... just a cool guy... if he can do something, he'll do it, if not, he'll just tell ya. Seems so simple, but missing in so many these days.

HR location isn't near any other casinos. Closest is Silver Sevens and you have to walk thru a somewhat sketchy (at night anyway) area to get to that.
