I guess a don't completely understand the offer. Is the $80 a cap, or is it predetermined menu for $44? Each or for two? If you go over the $80 in choices is that added to the orignal $44. Don't think a complete diner for two is possable for $80 based on the menu prices a remember. But anyway, I ll share our experience, perhaps it may help you decide.

We ate there last year during our stay at the Palms. Not being gourment dinners we opted for the "prix faux" offer (or however its pronounced), you know limited choices for set price per person. In this case it was $55 pp. including a bottle of red or white (house) wine.

In short the food and the service was great. The waiter was a little on the "stuffed shirt" side, you know real proper, but once we established that we were just regular folks, dining up, he turned it off and we had a great time. Example, when asked about our preference for "red or white" our indecision obivious, he said, "Don't worry about it, Ill bring you a bottle of each"
The food kept coming including a small tray of mini pizza which he said was a gift from the chef. We certinly had enough to eat and drink, but back to the offer cap, we were asked and opted for coffee after dinner, which was added to the $110 bill at $4.00 a piece, free refills though, assume nothing. No matter, its Vegas! Great time and great view from up there.

You are getting the $80 of food off the regular menu for $44. Anything above and beyond will be extra. Looking at the menu, $80
won't take you far unless you are dining solo. Here is a link to the dinner menu:
