Palazzo or Venetian?

    Since the rooms are the same price ( at least the weekend I am looking) if given the choice between Palazzo and Venetian, which do you pick and why?

    I stayed at Palazzo my last trip (about 1 month ago). The rooms are nice. The casino is more quiet than Venetian. In addition, Venetian is much more lively.

    I chose Palazzo since it was newer. It is a quick walk to the Venetian.

    I prefer Palazzo. It's newer, smaller, and less crowded. I also prefer the casino on the Palazzo side, and I love the views from the golf course facing side of the hotel. But really, it's six of one, half dozen the other. Both are nice places.

    I used to always stay at Palazzo for at least part of my trip, and love the place.

    I actually liked the layout, and always liked the Coffee Bean right at the bottom of the elevators too :)

    As Riddick says, the Venetian is only a short walk away as well.

    No question... Palazzo for the reasons already given. Venetian's no dump though, by any stretch, and also as stated above is far more "lively".

    when you stay at the Palazzo, can you also use the pool from the Venetian?
    if yes, how far is the walk?
