I'm going to Vegas in June for 11 days and already have 4 nights booked at Luxor/Mandalay Bay but am looking to use up my excess points (approx 200K come June).

My question is about Palace Station and whether I would be able to redeem extra rewards as I believe they are not part of the 3(4 in my case) rewards per 30 days.

I was thinking of booking one night midweek stay at PS and Feast Buffet for 2/Las Vegas TShirt/Comp Cocktail which would use up 86k in LP, the only thing I seem to remember is there being a limit of 2 rewards per day at PS but can't seem to get this confirmed.

Would appreciate any advice on the feasibility of doing this as probably gonna stop doing MyVegas after this trip as rewards seem to be drying up a bit.

    Cheers in advance

    Jimmy

Stations Casino rewards have their own limitations. Check the "Purchase & Usage Limitations" after clicking next for those rewards.
They state "Usage limited to any 2 rewards from Station Casinos regardless of type, within a rolling 1 days period."

Thanks for this Shock, I knew I had seen it somewhere, just need to find out what time they class the start of their "rolling 1 day period" at as I could probably get the 4 rewards i want if i time it right by staying overnight, be good to stay at a casino other than the strip or downtown too.

Any idea if they have decent poker at Palace Casino, be mostly interested in cash games.

The I took at look at Palace Station last November and set it as a new place to seed even before Mlife got so restricted. I played poker. Here is that report
    http://vegasbirthdaybash.blogspot.com/2014/11/tr-snippet-open-letter-to-palace-station.html

So far I have talked to the MyVegas Palace Station booking person and they will let me book up to 5 nights next trip based on availability, but he warned me to start looking as soon as the calendar was released for September (start perhaps on Memorial Day he recommended) as they do fill up fairly quickly.
He also said that with the freebies, for anything I booked in cash they might give me a discount based on my play. I was only there one day, but he said just having a card is sometimes enough to knock off 10%.
After a number of posts by folks who experienced the cheaper rooms, I am going to book only Tower rooms. I'm a frugal guy so that tells you I'm fairly certain there is a huge difference in quality, and in noise, and in convenience to the casino.

This thread will give you some added information and phone numbers.
I talked to the booking agent without having bought anything and he was just very helpful.. That alone makes me want to go there.
Please post your experience if you go.

Oh, the T shirt deal was not very good. They had very few in stock and none were Palace Station logo shirts. They would give money off those, but I only found one to fit me after a long while looking. I'd use my points for something else.

Thanks Dewey, at work just now but will have a full look at ur post and links later on tonight but cheers for the advice.

I would only be using the room as somewhere to freshen up and the buffet and a beer would be fine as tbh just using up my LP's.
