Planning on trying out Pai Gow Poker on my upcoming trip as opposed to marathon blackjack only. My questions is hat is the comp ratio of the two games? What is an equvalent bet on Pai Gow to 100/hand at blackjack?

Comps are bad at tables no matter what unless you're betting big money for a long period of time and have an attentive pit boss.

I'd figure they're about the same. Yes in Pai Gow Poker you play about half as many hands per hour but the HA is at least double of what it is in normal BJ. So the casino rates PGP at 35 hands/hr and BJ at 70 hands/hr, it should work out to almost the same.

I know in the lotus room at MB had a session of pai gow where I played 4.5 hours and was rated at $250/hand. Min bet was $100 and pressed wins to $500 on several occasions. I believe I earned around 30k tier credits but don't recall how many express comps for the session. Good game, lower bank roll variation than bj. Would also love to know how my play rates comp wise.
