In Pai Gow Poker, on a progressive table, five aces pays 10% of the progressive amount. If the table has an envy bonus, does the envy money come out of the progressive amount as well? Just curious ...

I don't think so. The meter rate will take care of paying the envy bonuses anyway.

No, it shouldn't. The two bets are completely different. The progressive bet is the $1 side bet. The fortune bet is separate bet completely. In most places, you have to have bet $5 to qualify for the Envy Bonus on the Fortune side bet. Depending on the paytable (wizard of odds list 6 different paytables), that envy can be anywhere between $50 and $250 on 5 Aces but has nothing to do with progressive!

Thanks, travelfiend ~ I kind of thought that was the case, but wasn't sure. You summed it up nicely! We're heading to Vegas a week from tomorrow ~ planning on playing LOTS of pai gow poker and VP ~ can't wait!
