Do you get higher pai gow comps if you don't bank? or do you always get comped as if you are banking?(every other hands?)

    casinoman,

I play Pai Gow and have watched others play at a much higher level than my play, and I have not seen that banking changes my or their ratings.

Actually, many times, the pit boss is not even around when people bank, so they don't even enter anything in the computer.

My understanding is that Pai Gow is rated based on average bet and time played more so that if you bank or not.

Not sure what the benefit is to bank every other hand. I think you can do this if it's only you and the dealer, but if there are other players, they move the banker around so others have a chance.

    Cheers.

if you're playing heads up with the dealer, it's always better to bank every hand because you win the win high/tie low hands. i've never tracked if/how banking affects your comps though.
