    Hi All,
WE just got back from Vegas (Aug 16 ), we stayed 4 nights at the D, we had one of the newly renovated rooms there, and it was fine, beds were great, no funny smells, however the only issue we had was with the air conditioner, it worked but not that great. When its 109% outside, and the air conditioner only drops the room temp to 80-85 it makes for hard sleep. Talked to several other guests on the elevators, and seems like its the same in all the rooms.
Once they replace the air conditioners, the D is well worth the money.
We didn't have too much luck there on the slots, didn't win much, but didn't loose a whole bunch either. Played the Sigma Derby a few times, that was fun, and slowed down the loses as well.
Drink service up stairs was super quick and fast, downstairs was a little slower, but overall was pretty good.

I did not want to hear that. I hate the heat as does my wife. Maybe I can help TheD solve the problems - I am an HVACR service tech. :poke:

Have all The D's rooms been renovated, or are they still in the process or renovating it? I searched around and couldn't find a definitive answer.

edit - okay, after searching a bit more I confirmed not all the rooms are completed.

we stayed in a new room in july when it was 115 degrees outside.

the ac crapped out during the night and we almost roasted. all it took was a call in the morning and they brought us up keys for a room across the hall for our next night and all was well.

We just spent two nights in a remodeled room at The D. It was comfortable during the day, but during the night under a heavy comforter, it got too hot.
