Was just at The Orleans middle of July and the only free place for wi-fi was at the Java coffee shop!

You can get it in room but there is a charge, about $5 per 24 hrs if I remember correctly, perhaps it is included with the recent resort fee hike but I somehow doubt it.

I was given to understand that the new/higher resort fee DOES include wifi but perhaps I was misinformed.

As I recall the Orleans offered two levels of wifi speed before the hike. I would assume that the lower speed is the one rolled into the Resort Fee if it is included.

Just checked into the Orleans today and can confirm the resort fee covers in room wifi (1Mb/sec). A faster option is still available for $10/day.

That speed is pretty slow. Ok for emails but pretty unusable for much else.
