I apologize if a similar thread is already on the books, but I have quick question...

I have a mid-week 2 night offer at The Orleans.
I will only need the room for one night.
Has anyone done this? Any issues checking out?

    Suggestions, advice appreciated.
    Thank you!

When I use these O offers, I book for both nights, but only stay one. Because I don't charge anything to the room, my balance is always zero so no need to check out at the desk.

You really don't need to ever stand in line to check out of a hotel room unless you have to dispute a charge or change how you want to pay. If you use a credit card, they automatically take a deposit of I think $100 per reservation when you check in. It gets refunded (minus any charges) when your reservation ends. You can see what the charges are on the TV, and if you don't have any disagreement, just leave whenever you want to.

Keep in mind that if your resort fees are not waived, they will probably charge them for both nights, and the second night's resort fee may not show up on your room charges on the TV until the second night.

What type of offer is it? You can probably just book one night.

Back in February we had a 2 night offer for Orleans. We had to cut it short due to a family emergency. They did not charge us a penalty or additional fees. Just remember that the offer is for 2 consecutive nights and you cannot split them up. You could always call and ask about it. I think you should be ok.

If you book through the link you have the option of booking one or two nights. Just cause it is a two night offer doesn't mean you have to book. Good Luck
