    My Trip Report

    Hey Now!
We stayed here for the first time, enjoyed it till the weekend came..
We saw some friends and I went on various chip/coupon runs in the early mornings.
We played at Sam's Club, the Suncoast, and Terrible's mostly.
Went to the Silverton to see the Avett Brothers and the big aquarium.
As long as we stayed away from the strip , the crowds weren't too bad, there must have been a convention or two staying at the Orleans, they were booked up solid. Tons of kids!!
So many places have reduced their hours. Bars, clubs, and even stores...

We ate at Casa Di Amore and Cuba Cafe on E. Tropicana. Both places are great, small locals joints..
I posted a detailed blog if you'd like to see it.
It's kinda long, but there are many pics on it.

    Enjoy!

enjoyed reading that. Pictures were great. I had the same reaction to the M resort when i got there. Its a place i plan on going to again, mostly for the buffet.

Nice report - good read and the pics were great!

I have a question though - how did you get upstairs at Sam's Town?? I never knew the casino had a second floor? And were the 10/7 VP machines all over, or just a few??? I'm going in two days, so, I'm anxious to know!

Not sure how they made the journey but there is an elevator for the rooms which stops on the second floor, an escalator, and a set of stairs set way back by the men's room along the same wall as the poker room....many many games (non table). Good luck!

There are escalators at the southern end of the pit, near the TGIF.. the local I met said they were the only ones he knows about.. I checked the rest of the machines I could get to .. the nickle progressives were mobbed, don't think any were full pay. The elevators would be just outside the Atrium on the main casino side.
    The upstairs isn't real big...

Thanks for the info - I'll definitely be scouting this out when I get there Tuesday night. 10/7 DDB is hard to find!

Thanks again for the great TR!
