Any tips for Orlando? There is a battle brewing over visiting theme parks and after looking at some of the admission prices, I am even more sure that I don't want to fool with them. So what else is there to do? No kids to plan for here.

I love Universal Studios and Islands Of Adventure. Other than the Attractions they have City Walk with Bars and Restaurants.
You could also drive down to the Seminole Hard Rock in Tampa. Supposedly the 6th largest Casino in the world so they claim.
They have 5,000 "Vegas Style" Slots -- not Bingo Slots. Also a Poker Room, Food Court, Restaurants, Buffets & Bars.

Most people go to Orlando for a convention or a theme park (and I go for both:peace:) Is there a reason you're going to Orlando if you don't want to go to a theme park? I suppose there's golf.....

My husband has a trade show that is usually in Orlando every 2-3 years, and we pick 1 (sometimes two) theme parks to visit, alternating each trip. I think we should be there next year, and we'll go to Universal to see Harry Potter world because it was about a month away from opening the last time we were in Orlando:cry:

We are going on a time share presentation thing (not my idea!). Originally we were supposed to go to Hawaii again but it was busting the budget so we switched to Orlando. We did WDW and SeaWorld when we were kids and don't want to go again. I've seen Universal in LA and was interested in doing a day there until I saw the prices. I can see doing a City Walk visit but I am too old for that stuff and I'd rather save the money for something new.
