Heading to Vegas for trip number 5 the second week of December - got a smokin' package deal on SellOff for five nights at Paris and flights. It's -27C here so just the change in weather has me pumped! Never stayed at Paris - last time we stayed DT and it'll be nice to be somewhat central this time. I am trying to nail down things to do, restaurants to eat at, attractions to see, and this site is an incredible source of information. I'm thinking Rock of Ages, Absinthe....at least one great steak (Hugo's Cellar was terrific), maybe a day at the Hoover (haven't been out there yet), at least one night on Fremont, at least one Hash House cholesterol-fest... But man - there are SO many options, I find my eyes glazing over and I can't even jot down a note of something that sounds cool. Yet I know that in three weeks I'll be standing on LV Blvd saying "OK....where do you want to go?", and I'd like to have some sort of a plan. It's a problem, but a good problem. It's fun to wing it, but winging it can cost a lot of $$$ and although I'm not afraid of spending money, I like get the most out of my dollars. I see some folks here planning things out in lots of detail - and some that seem to get off the plane and go for it. Any suggestions for dealing with the option paralysis? Five nights is the longest I've stayed so I feel like I have lots of time.
