We will be in LV Sunday, May 8 - Thursday May 12 and have comps at our two favorite properties, The Orleans and Ballys.
Trying to decide between the following:

    1. (4) nights at The Orleans
    2. (3) nights at The Orleans, (1) night at Ballys.
    3. (2) nights at The Orleans, (2) nights at Ballys.

    Thoughts, comments, opinions? :peace:

I wouldn't do 3 and 1. If you're the type to blow through your gambling budget in a couple days I would do the 4 nights at Orleans to reduce the risk of a no play stay. If you can control your budget the 2 and 2 may be the better option for fostering future offers.

If you like Orleans & enjoy being off strip.....stay 4 nites. If not.....2 & 2. Personally, we will not stay anywhere but mid-strip due to fee rooms & convenience..... but....we are old - lol

I agree about the convenience of being mid strip. I would stay at bally's 4 nights. The for the OP question i would do 2-2.

Orleans without question... Better gaming, rooms, food choices, pool.
You can always take the shuttle to the strip......
    Have fun !

Orleans all four is my vote........shuttle to the Strip. But.........if I was doing shows on the Strip I would split 2-2.

Some people hate transferring rooms, not me I hate being stuck somewhere I'm losing at and having to play to keep the offers coming. I like the change in scenery so I would go with the 2-2 myself. Good luck!

Unless there are extras that can't be passed up from Bally's, I would just do all four at Orleans. I like them both but I've been having a better time at Orleans lately,

Both are decent mid-range hotels, so it comes down to your particular taste and plans. Will you have a rental car?

Ballys has great location. Orleans has better gaming rules and limits in general.

Orleans for all four nights, no question. Better gambling, good food choices, and yo can always shuttle to the Strip if you want.

I like Bally's because of their location and the Jubliee rooms. But, it's not a very fun or lively casino. I'm going to give it another go in June, but if you're a fan of Orleans, I'd stay there. That said, I've done the two days at one place and two days at another place and it does make the trip more fun -- though it definitely makes it feel faster. It gives you something to look forward to if things go sour too. Staying at one casino can get boring.

The food options at Orleans when we stayed there last year were abysmal. I did read that they were updating them and that would be great because it sucked. I love playing at the Orleans but I didn't really like staying there as much as I thought I would. But I'm not a Bally's fan either. If you have a car I'd probably stay at Orleans.

Abysmal? It's the Orleans..... You don't get more midlevel than the Orleans. What did you expect?
