I'll be staying at MGM over a football weekend. I'll be placing a bunch of bets on Saturday and Sunday games. It'll be September, so it should be pretty nice out... I'd like to watch the games somewhere with fresh air (or at least as fresh as air can get in Vegas).

I can't seem to find any bars on the south strip that are open air/outdoors AND that have a lot of TVs to catch all the games. Does such a place exist?

I haven't been to Vegas since it opened, but I'm thinking the Bud Beer Park might fit the bill.

I haven't been there yet either, but that was going to be my suggestion too.

South Strip is tough for open air spots with TVs for watching a game. The aforementioned Beer Park is very sports oriented with lots of TVs and the best choice, but center strip. It might be worth the hike up there, though, because it's the best outdoor spot for catching a game.

Rhumbar at the Mirage also has a good number of TVs out there, but you'd have to endure the cigar and hookah smoke. Also well north of the MGM. The seating is fairly well spaced out, so you're not going to get overwhelmed with smoke unless you're very sensitive to it.

Thanks for all the suggestions! I have a monorail pass through myvegas, so I should be able to get up to Paris pretty quickly.

I saw Beer Park earlier online, but it looked a bit douchey. I'm a mid 30s Midwesterner who can't stand twenty something party bros. I suppose I'll just suck it up if they're there.

Try being 55...... Beer Park tacks on some kind of facility fee and about 90% of the brews are from the family of AB-Inbev.

Some of my friends wanted to go there on our upcoming trip but we will avoid it based on their somewhat covert 4.5%CNF fee.
    It's just the principle.
At least with a resort fee you get something(gym, wifi, water etc.)
Here you get nothing but an added charge.

Definitely check out Twin Peaks. Up on the 3rd floor they have an open air bar with quite a few TV's and it looks out over the strip.
Oh yeh and did I mention the scenery.....
It would definitely be my choice if I was there for NFL season.

Love Twin Peaks, I'd go with PBR. They have outdoor seating and are right next to Planet Hollywood's sports book.

Eesh... Thanks for the heads up about the CNF fee. F--k that, based on general principle. I'll go elsewhere.

Twin Peaks looks great. PBR looks good, but probably not enough TVs.

They've got every game on at PBR...

The Pub at Monte Carlo is another option. I know they open up an auxiliary sports book window inside the venue during March Madness... Have to imagine they do the same for football Sundays

Blondie's in the Miracle Mile is another option if you're looking for a more rowdy watching experience

Edit: I forgot you said open air so scratch the Pub and Blondie's!

Well, if it's any thing like the Top Golf down the road from me, it's even more overpriced than most places on the strip. Still fun, tho.

The more I look at PBR, it looks like probably the best shot. One question I can't seem to find an answer to... Is their open bar deal valid on Sat/Sun during football season? There's nothing on the Groupon(https://www.groupon.com/deals/pbr-rock-bar-grill-1) that says it's not good for those days, but I find it hard to believe that I could get an all day open bar for $39 on a football Saturday/Sunday.

I'm fairly certain it's good on Sundays... I think we did the open bar last fall.

Give them a call and find out.
