    My Trip Report

First trip report ever after about 25 trips to Vegas . Me , K and wife S are just heading to the airport . Fly out of Victoria with a quick pitstop in Seattle , clear customs and arrive in Las Vegas around 4:00 . I booked a Petite suite at Treasure Island because of the location , across from Walgreens and especially for the two bathrooms . Nothing confirmed yet but plans include indoor skydiving , a spin around the High Roller , the roller coaster at NYNY and zipping ourselves stupid downtown and at the Rio . We will catch a show and maybe have a drink or 2 and try our luck a little . I have my iPad so will try and do some updates on the fly .

Flight and customs went smooth but a long lineup at hotel check in . Got a petite suite on the 26th floor unfortunately only a view facing north was available , so am now looking at Trump and Circus Circus . Had dinner , couple of drinks in the room and now heading out .

We walked from TI down to the Linq checked out the place and the High Roller . Decided not tonight , so grabbed cab to Circus Circus to go on the Adventuredome rides . We go upstairs and WTF the place is closed ! Picked up a couple of beverages and hoofed it back to TI .
Played a few slots and called it a night before 12:00 . The only quirk so far is a plugged up sink in S's bathroom , so I'll have to call maintenance in the morning .

Well this morning the sink was backing up so after 3 trips downstairs finally had the asst. manager change rooms for us . Same suite but slightly better view . We went to the wax museum at the Venitian . Was better than I expected , took a lot of pictures and the 4D feature at the end was very good . We then had a late lunch at hash House A GoGo and we both enjoyed it , very large portions .Spent some time at Carnival Court and caught some of the Big Elvis show . Just getting ready to head over to the Rio to meet up with a friend who's in town for the fight . I expect to find him at the craps tables where he has been killing lately . I guess we'll try out the zip line then have some dinner and more drinks . We were planning on hitting the pool today but with moving and other stuff I guess it will be tomorrow .

    Good start!

As for the adventure dome I think it's usually closed on weekdays during the school year at least.

Didn't find my friend last night but went on the zip line at Rio . Have to say it was pretty lame even though we were half in the bag . Went to Ellis Island for dinner and put $20 in a VP bartop while waiting to be paged .played deuces wild and hit several 4oak and a5oak
And cashed out $50 which about payed for our meal . Ended up back at TI and S. Went bed and I had a fairly long drunk roulette session.
Hit a lot of numbers but didn't come out ahead but didn't get too badly beat up .I had 3 black chips in my pocket this morning and a Tito for $72.
Today went to the pool and have tickets for Zombie Burlesque tonight .

Glad you decided to do a trip report.

Hasn't the customs in Seattle gotten easy and quick? I used to hate the horrible line ups.

Good luck on the rest of your trip.

Quick update before heading out for dinner and comedy club . Last night saw Zombie Burlesque and we both really enjoyed it . S even thought it was better than Absinthe . We also rode the High Roller and it was okay , not something to go wow over .
Today we did the indoor skydiving . It was very good , a real workout and very hot in the suits . More tomorrow .

After the indoor skydiving yesterday we walked over The Peppermill for lunch and were a bit disappointed , just not very good . We then grabbed a cab at Wynn and went back to Miracle Mile , walked around , S. Tried on 10 pairs of shoes we each had a 10 minute massage then made our way back to TI. Played a little WOF with no decent hits ,back to the room for drinks then back to Miracle Mile for a comedy show at the V . Used a coupon for 2 free tickets , just had to purchase 2 drinks each for a total of $44 . The show was very good for the price . The headliner was very funny , a Filipino who made fun of all races equally . After the show we stopped for a late dinner at Ellis Island then back home . I went downstairs and played some more WOF and had a few spins but biggest was only 60 credits . Then I played some 25c JOB hit one 4oak , was going to play some roulette but I was getting tired so headed back to the room and was out by 1:30 .

I got up at a decent time today and went to Walgreens for supplies . We went over to Fashion Show for a while then caught the Deuce downtown . Walked down to Container Park but it was dead there and hot as hell . Had some lunch and bussed to Circus Circus . We went on the El Loco roller coaster and got the crap scared out of us , had to buy the picture it was so goofy . Back at the Chateau for drinks and planning our evening . Tomorrow is S's birthday and her cousin arrives from Vancouver so tonight can't get too insane .

I did meet up with my friend on Saturday at our racebook . He flew in from Ontario and had tickets for the fight .Well , not the real fight but the simulcast at MGM . We hung out for a while , he was playing the ponies and having a few drinks but I only had pop and kept my wallet in my pocket . He hit a few bets earlier and then after the fight he ran a $200 buyin up to $2,000 at the craps table . He sent me an email from the airport saying he was heading home up about $1,000 for the trip . Oh well ,I still have a couple of days to hit pay dirt .

Today is S's birthday so she is having a little nap before we head out . I had $85 in free slot play that I turned into $56 on VP then made it evaporate on WOF . Tried some more VP but didn't get anything decent except 4oak 10s unfortunately on deuces wild .
I think we are going to the Cheesecake Factory then maybe check out Carnival Court again or possibly head Downtown .

We cabbed to Caesars and met up with S's cousin , L from Surrey , just outside of Vancouver . She is in Vegas for her annual trade show , so it is mostly business for her . She is staying at the Trump , which we look right at from our window at TI . Dinner was a mixed result . Mine was very good and I had a huge slice of cheesecake . S enjoyed hers except she forgot to order the scampi with her steak . L ordered the ribeye and it was over cooked and her salad was all lettuce . The manager came over and comped the ribeye and my desert .
From there we went back to Carnival Court , stayed for a couple of drinks until the band finished for the night . Dropped into Casino Royale for some cheap drinks on the walk back to TI to bring down the average . We ended up in the Breeze Bar until 4:00 walked L to the cab and called it night .
This morning I went down to the casino and played a roulette machine . I put in $40 and hit for $48 on the first spin but cashed out when I saw the crappy pay table. I just stupidly assumed it was the same as the real game but straight up only pays 32-1 . I then played a 25c WOF for $20 and cashed out at $25.50 . So I headed back to the room up a whopping $13.50 for the day . Since we fly home tomorrow morning today will be an easy day on the alcohol intake so The plan maybe an afternoon show or some pool time then some gambling this evening .
