I've been to Vegas probably 8 times in the past 3 years. My reason for going to Las Vegas this time is for a conference, but also am tacking on a friend's bachelor party at the end.

This will be my last time to Vegas for a while because we just bought a house and we now have a little one on the way!

Will be there for 10 days with stays at Orleans (for fun), 4 Queens (for fun), Venetian (for fun and conference), and Mirage (for fun and bachelor party). I'm pumped!

Any suggestions for things I should do on my last trip to Vegas for the foreseeable future?

I went through the same thing years ago. When I was single I went to Vegas often, got married and we went 3-4 times a year. After 3 years of marriage bought a house and had a baby so the trips stopped. Money was tighter and when our son was old enough we took family oriented vacations. Fast forward and I'm divorced, my son is in college and I'm back baby :) Can't wait for my son to turn 21 in 2 years and take him out there.

With ten days and a bachelor party you better pace yourself!

Definitely agree with Vic on pacing.

If you haven't done it I would suggest the 3 rides on top of Stratosphere . Sky jump is a separate fee but you can get the 3 others unlimited plus entry to the top for just over $30. Did this in July, well worth it.

Have you done a day to do the Grand Canyon? We did a bus trip to the south rim and left at 7:30 am and got back around 9 PM or so. Stopped also at Hoover Dam for pic opps. Got a deal through the concierge when we stayed at PH. I'm sure they have them at all of the hotels. Will never do it again but at least I can say I saw the big giant hole.

    Enjoy the trip.

As both of you said, I will definitely be pacing myself. For 5 of the days, I will be in a conference and will be working pretty darn hard so I'm not sure I'll be up for much on those nights, but who knows.

Haven't done the Grand Canyon, and with the conference I'm not sure I'll have the time. One of these days. May give the Strat rides a try!

A long time ago we took a day trip to Laughlin. I think it was about an hour drive. It was fun to go to some new casinos and some of them are on the river. We enjoyed it. There used to be free/low cost buses to/from Laughlin but I don't remember seeing those advertised much anymore.
