Has anyone ever done the one day all out Vegas power trip. Fly out Friday night and fly back Saturday for example and either stay up all night or barely sleep? I'm curious what kind of flight deals I can get from Dallas-Fort Worth and what tips to use to get a good deal. I can get a room comped.

I like the sound of that! It would be awesome if you could combine with match play from the different casinos.

I know Golden Gate will give you $50 match play, El Cortez will give you $10-$1000 free play, and MSS/the Cal will give you $25 of free play after you spend $50 if you fly Allegiant.

The D gives you $50 match play for flying Spirit.

With some good luck, maybe you could pay for your flight and then some off of the free play!

I have done a trip where I flew in Saturday and landed at like 10am, flew out Sunday at like 6pm. I slept about 3 hours but otherwise gambled and drank the entire time.

Back in the 80s, I did this a few times... fly in on a Friday night or Saturday morning, gamble for about 24 hours and then fly home...no luggage.
This was back in the days when you could negotiate at the ticket counter... I recall getting Republic to give me a $100 round-trip on a flight.

Seems like forever from now, but the flights are booked, so it counts!

Yeah...they had an ad out at the time for $100 RT flights, HOU-LAS, with a 21-day advance purchase...but me & a buddy showed up at Hobby airport on a Saturday morning & asked them how many empty seats they had for a flight leaving in 20 minutes. Ticket-counter guys says "plenty".
Then the bargaining began... he ended up giving us two seats together, there & back, for that $100 fare. We flew back Sunday morning... no luggage, no hotel... just 20 hours or so of non-stop drinking, smoking & gambling.
    (Oh, to be young again!)
