So, I scheduled a one day trip to Las Vegas to get red and blue cap silver strikes. I got $120 R/T on SWA down Tuesday morning and back Tuesday night. I have a family situation at home that makes is such that I couldn't stay overnight. Left the house at 7AM, hopped On a plane at 8:30. Picked up my rental car from Enterprise at 10:35 AM I arrived at the Four Queens at 11AM. I looked at the Silver Strike machines and the strike loading was all messed up. Normally, they are evenly spaced either every 7th sdtrike or every 10th strike is a red or blue cap. There were very few blue caps left and only red caps were in view. The explanation that I got was that there was a miscommunication between the director and the staff, and they placed the strikes as they would have In January or June, when there are four different blue caps. This caused the blue caps to run out prematurely. Anyway, I ended up with 105 clear caps, 9 red caps, and 1 blue cap with about two hours of play on two machines. About $1100-1200 invested, so, considering the value of red caps at 3 clear and blue caps at 2 clear, I did pretty well. That night, I got my two $300 strikes from my buddy who was kind enough to pick them up for me on Friday. We had dinner at Andiamos, the steak house at the D. We split an order of Oysters I ordered the Lamb Chops and lamb shoulder with Lobster Ziti. He ordered a porterhouse with sauteed mushrooms and onions After dinner, I drove my buddy back to the Cosmo where he was parked. I went over to Sixt, and they gave me the same explanation that they had given my other buddy last week, that RedBull had rented all of the cars for en event, but reservations already made would be honored. I was so tired. For the first time In my life, I sat at the airport with money in my pocket, but had ABSOLUTELY NO DESIRE to play the slots. Got home at 11:30PM and crashed.
