I'll be on my own for 2-3 days in Vegas after my daughter gets married later this month and I'm looking for free and frugal things to do and see by myself.

We've been to Vegas 20+ times and so I'm trying to find things I haven't done before. I will have a car so I can pretty much go anywhere I want. The problem is I've seen all the "big" things, Hoover Dam, Red Rock Canyon, Lake Mead.....
hell I've even been out to Rachel, NV to see the aliens!!

    Any suggestions?

LOVE the Pinball Museum and the Neon Graveyard!!! Those are two of my favorite places. I had heard about the Mob Museum opening and it seems to be getting good reviews. Maybe I should put that on my list?

Ya know in all my trips to Vegas and I never seen a lounge act. That's going on the list!!
We got to see Madame Tousants (sp?) when we were looking at places to have my daughter's wedding. It is pretty cool. And they do some really unusual things for weddings.

LOL what do I REALLY want to do??? I really want to see the Pirate's Cove House in Boulder City but I have had no luck at all finding out who to contact to see the place. It's a private residence but they do rent it out for parties and such.

I have two BAD....as in very poor quality tattoos from my 40th birthday trip in 2000 and from my daughter's 21st birthday trip in 2005. I learned my lesson the hard way on getting tattooed in Vegas.

The dolphins at Mirage sounds cool and I don't think I've ever seen them. Great suggestion!

Ziplines.......LOL. I think I'll just watch. That's just a little too thrilling for this old broad.

I would love to see some houses but I would feel kind of bad wasting an agents time since I know I have no intention or ability to buy anything right now.

I love Henderson! In fact that's where I normally stay when I'm in Vegas. Sunset Station, Eastside Cannery are 2 of my favorite places out there.

AWESOME IDEAS!!! And the best part is I have not done any of these things in Vegas!! I knew about the machine guns but the rest of the things....I had no idea these were out there.

I might just end up having more fun by myself than I thought!!

guess skydiving is out of the question then, lol. Maybe a hot air balloon?

And since you are a woman then driving to pahrump to see the cat houses is probably out of the question, lol.

how about the top of the eiffel tower at night, watching the bellagio fountain show? Stratosphere tower during the day and night? you could also do the rides up there but you may get a heart attack, lol. Kidding!

I liked the valley of fire drive. Reno drive? Mesquite? How about buying some fireworks at that intersection to get to the valley of fire (there is a store where you can buy aerials) and going somewhere to set them off? You could always just drive and drive, even to the Grand Canyon. Actually I found driving by myself long distances to be dangerous, so easy to nod off or get into an accident.

Visit all the outlying resorts again? M? GVR? boulder highway casinos? Nellis AFB and watch the planes flying around? Or visiting rescue places and see the animals? Of course you can visit all the shopping centers like meadows mall, galleria, gvr district, north and south premium outlets, fashion show mall? Canal shops at the venetian? CP forum shops? atomic testing museum? Book in advance and you can actually go out and see where they exploded the atom bombs. Shark exhibit at MB? antique car show at the IP? Titanic exhibit?
