I' ve been on a Commuter Train Station Parking Permit List
    for 4 years, now.
For those years, I have paid a daily fee - which is
2x as much as having "Permit Parking". (approx. $800 a yr)
4 years ago when I sent in my application the company
told me I was #375 on the waiting list.
Every once in a while I would call --- nobody would
    pick up.
The other day ( on the train ) a guy mentioned "Yeh, I just called
them up and they gave me a spot."
    I said, "I've been waiting 4 years !"
    I call.........and FINALLY, get a human being.
    You guessed it --
"Sir, I don't see you anywhere on the list."
    To The Supervisor I go.
    Same answer......."Not on the list".
She said, "We bought this company in '09."
I said, "Well, I have proof it's an application dated 10/01/08."
She was stunned I would still have ANY proof !
    But........she did the right thing.
"Sir, FAX it to me and I'll put you to the top of the list."
    I can't believe all the $$ I've paid for those 4 years.
I guess the company that got bought out - coulda gave a sh*t.:grrr:
    Ugh ---
The moral to the story ?..........:Þ

    Sorry this happened to you!

Reminds me of a time when we were renewing our home insurance. The agent was new and happened to see that they had our location wrong in their records.
So for years and years we paid a higher insurance premium because they thought we lived further away from a fire department than we do. (It's a rural area).
Grrrr... I could still get steamed over that one.

Lesson was .... get your insurance policy reviewed once in awhile!

    Glad it worked out ,finally

I guess the moral is if you keep on things eventually they work out to the good if youre lucky. My moral for today is "you snooze, you lose",we got out on the golf course by 7am and just beat a huge thunderstorm.

The moral I got is don't live anywhere that you have to pay for parking.
