I moved in March but never changed my address. Will I have trouble renting a car?

I am always an address behind as our BMV allows us to change online without purchasing a new physical license. I have never had a problem.

If you have centralized licensing (as we do now) that might not be enough time - your DL is mailed to you after you visit your local DMV to do the paperwork, eye test, payment etc - you don't leave the building with your new license.

I recall the Alamo kiosks asking if your current address is the same as on the DL you have swiped. Since mine has never been different, I don't know what they do if you answer "yes" other than get your new address....

We moved 15 months ago and I still have the old address on my CDL. We're broke out here so the state won't give me a new one until I either declare it lost or it comes up for renewal. They don't even send out stickers anymore with the new address. But I am current with the DMV since I updated everything online. (Reggie and insurance current.)

I rent cars often. Never had a problem.

My address is 7 years old on my license. Cops always tell me I need to get a new one but I still haven't.
