I will be there from 12/30 to 1/3.

Don’t Look Back (Boston Tribute) – 3rd Street Stage
Generation Idol (Billy Idol Tribute) – Main Street Stage

    9:45 p.m. – 11:45 p.m.
Led Zepagain (Led Zeppelin) – 1st Street Stage
Queen Nation (Queen Tribute) – 3rd Street Stage
No Duh (No Doubt Tribute Band) – Main Street Stage

    12:10 a.m. – 1:40 a.m.
Fan Halen (Van Halen Tribute) – Main Street Stage

    12:10 a.m. – 2 a.m.
Aeromyth (Aerosmith Tribute) – 1st Street Stage

Red Not Chili Peppers (Red Hot Chili Peppers Tribute) – Main Street Stage

I'm going to be taking a nap in order to stay up for NYE (Yeah, I'm that old)

Any of the VMBers going to be there?

New Orleans 7* retreat. Food, food, and more food . . . .
    Tentatively Tahoe or LV . . . .

Wow, I see I didn't do my NYE research very well cause I'd love to see most of those tribute bands. Queen, AC/DC, Boston, Rolling Stones, Led Zepplelin, that would of been a blast, my husband and would have loved that. Already booked for the Venetian NYE party and seeing REO. Not a fan of REO a bit to mellow for us, but we are already committed to Venetian, darn!!!

I always get an invite from 4Q, but I'm a working musician, so I'm always working NYE, and it's always a good money night. One of these years...

No Duh (No Doubt) and Bonfire (Bon Jovi) are both outstanding bands.

That's a great night for live music. I wish I was there for it. Actually, very tempted to check the prices on last-minute bookings... though I know I shouldn't. :p

Yeah, it really is great. It is something I recommend everyone should do - once. NYE is very crowded, security is a pain, and the lines to get drinks can be daunting.

Instead of going to Fremont Street on NYE, I now go the night before (Dec 30) and the nights after (Jan 1, 2 and 3). The great bands that played NYE will be playing spread out over those other days. You get all the great music but don't have to fight the crowds. For me, it's a much better experience.
