My SIL is going through the same thing this week. She doesn't drink at all. Hopefully it's something simple for both of you.

What makes you think she's expecting? Her blood work shows high liver enzymes not pregnancy.

If I was expecting, there'd be a surgeon with some explaining to do! BTW my daughter turned 40 a couple weeks ago!

I did not say that or assume that. I meant that many women who are expecting visit LV and don't drink that trip.

I figured the comment was based on the title.

Best of luck to you. Don't take any chances, except at your games of choice!

Hope all goes well. That sucks. Savor a quick taste and wait for the next trip.

I'm OK with the restriction now (just had to whine for a bit!) Sporting my VMB bracelet, all packed, boarding pass ready and alarm set for 4:30am. One day we'll have to catch a show together!

It was fine. I had a wonderful time and did not have even a single drink. I kept busier than usual, played slots less, toured a few resorts, enjoyed the mall and loved the open top bus tour. Saw 9 shows in 5 nights - enjoyed all, but just loved some. My comp drinks were mostly gingerale. On the High Roller open bar ride, I was the ONLY person in my capsule...well, me & the bartender. I gave him a big tip since he missed the opportunity to have a lot of guests on board. I got great pictures and chatted with him, sipping gingerale. It's been three weeks today; biopsy is next week, so we'll know more then, but I do feel fine. Thanks!

Doctors call it "practicing medicine" because they still don't know what they are doing.
Sometimes its like these extra tests are performed because they have a kid going to college, just bought a new boat, house or car.
Even if that doctor isn't doing the test he gets kickbacks from the doctor he sends you to.

I can picture it now at a social dinner.
Hey Bob, i just bought this kick ass car. It costs a fortune. How about sending me a few new patients this week.
Sure no problem. I have a patient coming in tomorrow. I will tell her she needs extra tests done for her liver. :evillaugh:wink2:

Seriously I hope all goes well for you.
Ask if you can have one drink a day. If they say yes, just order one in those 3 foot long cups.
