I just received an offer from Beau Rivage in Biloxi for free flight and hotel for 2 from my home city. I wanted to use this as a pregame before I go to Vegas for the fights. Is this offer worth using? I have never been to Biloxi.

There's a few threads about these offers and the Beau in general.

I have been on those freebies from Savannah/Hilton Head (3 nights with the direct flight to Gulfport) & they're terrific. I just got back from Vegas & was comp'd at Cosmo & Aria & am using the freebie back to the Beau at the end of September for 3 nights out of Charleston.

    Go for it!

I've done two or three of these offers from Houston to the Beau. There really isn't any catch. It's a great deal. Search on here and you'll find plenty of info.

Its a good deal, however those flights are packed. I found the other casinos around the Beau Rivage to be better as far as paytables on VP, better BJ rules, cheaper roulette (I think the IP has a dollar game going all day M-F) better paying slots...The Beau does have better drink service by far, better food choices - BR Steakhouse is really good, and not too expensive - and a better buffet. Keep in mind the last time I utilized this comp was November 2010 I think. The Golden Nugget has since opened, and I'm sure Landrys will do everything to give the Beau a run for their money. You'll like it, much better alternative to Atlantic:vomit::vomit:City...

    Biloxi features

The IP in Biloxi has been a Boyd Gaming property for the last couple of years. Consequently, the BConnected slot club card has been in use there since then. BConnected points can be used for meals at the hotel restaurants, resulting in 50% savings.

The IP is a very nice property with a large pool on the roof of the parking garage.

There are at least 10 casinos in the immediate area, providing lots of gaming choices and competition. Promotions abound.

Biloxi is a great area and the package is good.
Have used it about 4 times and enjoyed it for a quick getaway.
If it is free take it and have fun:peace:

Yes , the Beau Rivage is great, nice hotel, MGM Properties, always get good room offers from them and free play. Love the offers to Las Vegas from playing in Mississippi.

We got the same offer leaving from Clearwater/St. Pete and took advantage of it July 1-4. Loved it! Beau Rivage is a really nice property, plus you have access to a variety of casinos via a Casino Hopper shuttle ($5 a day or $1.25 per trip - $.60 if you have a Medicare card :wink). Try it out ~ we think you'll like it.

The nice thing is, once you drop your luggage off at the airport check-in, you don't have to worry about it - they bring it right to your room and pick it up when you're ready to leave, so you don't have to drag it through the hotel. AND they provide bus transportation from the airport to the hotel and back. We'll definitely go back!

Are these chartered/non-stop flights? We just got this offer too and we're in VA so I'm wondering if we have to stop in Atlanta like most every flight does our of this area heading south.

Also, did they remodel the casino? I see on VP Free, they talk about what's in the HL room and mention that it is "right inside the door and to the right". Last time we were there the HL slots were along the back wall. This area sounds like what maybe used tobe the 875 lounge?

I am in Arkansas and all of the flights we have taken to BR are all non-stop out of XNA(Northwest Arkansas). I have taken a flight to harrahs Tunica that had 2 cities in the charter. The flights usually are direct charters, no hub involved.

The Beau is very nice, very much like a scaled down Bellagio. It is right next door (five minute walk) to the Hard Rock, which are the two premium properties in Biloxi.:peace::beer:

I'd put the IP as a third premium property. Big casino, excellent steakhouse and the rooms are as nice or nicer than HR. Also, the comps come much quicker at IP. Generally I eat all meals for free in my trips to Biloxi between the Beau, Grand Casino and IP.

I also like the IP. It is very nice, I may even prefer it a little because the minimums at the tables are a little lower. But I gamble mostly at BR so I can keep getting flight offers.

The flight from Houston was a chartered non-stop with Allegiant air, which was surprising since Allegiant's website doesn't list any Houston airports. But that is who the Beau is partnered with to do this deal. The flight is fun - free flowing drinks & they play "the money game" - you write your seat on money & it goes in a sack - if your bill gets drawn you win the sack of money. There are 4 versions of the game - $1, $5, $10, & $20. I won the $10 game once.

We haven't been in 2 years so I don't know if they remodeled the HL room - it was where you said when we were there last. We are going on Monday - I'll let you know.

The deal with Clearwater or Orlando/Sanford is Vision Airlines. They do the free drinks and money bag game too.

BR is a great, beautiful place, and HR next door has better deals on Food. VP at both suck. But I love the drink service at the BR VP bar (along with $2 tip).

Every trip staying at the BR, and during the first night once they get to know who you are, I walk up, no money in the machine, and they are getting me my drink. Sometimes I play, and sometimes I just leave to play a slot, or table game.

Walk up again, there is my drink coming. Half the time I do sit down and play some VP. Been this way for Years and Years and Years. :drunk:

Margaritaville Casino has really fun dealers and Pit Bosses. Pit Bosses fun? YEP!
    Friendly, fun, and entertaining.

One pit boss showed me a new way to play 3 Card Poker. Does not change what you would do, just makes it more intertaining.

Look at one card, Say it is a Ace or King. Then do not look at the other two, for you are going to bet that hand anyways. When the Dealers turns them over, you hope to see a nice surprise, such as straight, flush, trips, etc.

If the first card is no good, you do look at the second card, and if it is good, stop, or look at all three cards if there is nothing good, then decide to bet or fold.

It is stupid, but gives the game a little more of an entertainment Kick! :faint:

Just left the Beau - the HL room is still at the back. Eight75 is immediately to the right as you enter the casino. They are replacing the carpet in the casino but that's it.

Thanks gang! We're going to go. We've been to the Beau about 6 times in the past 12 years but it's been about 4 yrs. We always liked the resort a lot although we were bummed when they closed Olives because we love Italian food and a bottle of red. I see they now have Stalla which looks perfect for what we like to do. Plus the other big thing for me is when we used to go, we flew Airtran (who no longer goes into GPT) and they always stopped in Atlanta for long layovers so it ended up taking longer than the time to fly to Vegas. Non-stop on Vision out of Richmond ought to be about 2 1/2 hrs I'd think.

I got another offer for January. My first in a couple of years.
I won't be able to use it though.
    They are fantastic offers.
One of the best reasons is because the flight leaves from Austin and goes straight to Gulfport. There is not a commercial flight that does that. You always have to stop in Houston, or only to New Orleans, then drive.
The gambling has gotten worse at The Beau though. Black jack was H17 even at the $100 table. Not that I would play at the $100 table.
