Got back from Vegas last week, and already booked my October trip:wave:
Seeing Jimmy Buffett October 18, and planning on watching some NFL October 19 (lots of great games that Sunday).
So, who else is planning an October Vegas vacation?:drunk: Who else is seeing Buffett's show? Is your NFL team playing that weekend?
October is the perfect time of year to really enjoy all that Vegas has to offer:faint:
    I'm there October 17-October 24.

Yep. 17th-20th. Can't wait for the concert, maybe we could get a meet up at the pre party?

I'll be there from the 13th until the 17th (Monday to Friday.) Sorry I'll be missing you by a day!

I'm glad, however, that I'm not the only lunatic who looks out this far in advance!

    Santé,
    TL

Oct 22 - 29, first 3 days at south point with the family, then ship them home as 2 buddies fly in and we head downtown for the weekend! There are some excellent NFL games set up for that weekend of the 27-28th. One guy is a huge Redskins fan, being from Texas I'm a Cowboy for life, so the Washington-Dallas game will be fun for one of us! (Right now I'm afraid the Cowboys may have a "rebuilding season", not getting my hopes up ).

Definitely keep me updated on where the tailgate party will be this October 18---a meet up would be cool, obviously. Trying to talk a Vegas buddy into doing the Buffett show too:drunk:

October 23-28. First 3 nights at the Rio where I will be attending a celebration of Best Friends Animal Sanctuary's 30th Anniversary. My last 2 nights are still open, but I'm leaning towards the Bellagio.

Hey, I booked my October trip on St. Patrick's Day, March 17th! Okay, to be honest, I had a $400 credit on Delta that was going to expire the next day, and Halloween was the only timeframe that was pretty certain. I normally don't plan more than several weeks in advance and always try to coordinate air and room offers. This time I had to make my best guess, which is why I still need additional nights.

Fortunately, Delta added over an hour to my scheduled departure time, and I was able to change my late afternoon flight to late morning at no charge. (Pickings were slim and prices higher when I originally booked.) In this case at least, booking way early for the same flights would have cost significantly more.

I usually (always) book my vacations 4 months a head of time---the airfare is unpredictable these days (the flight for my June Vegas trip was booked back in February at $710.00. The flight for my upcoming October Vegas trip was booked last week at $499.00. I used to get airfare at $330.00 when I booked this far a head of time. Those days are gone:cry:).
Anyway, I just received my Jimmy Buffett ticket for the October 18th show:faint:

The Cowboys are Superbowl contenders with an elite quarterback. You have nothing to worry about.

I will be going in October, it appears. I won't be there for Halloween this year. I have to go earlier in the month for a wedding.

Airfare was the reason I booked early managed to $25 round trip from MHT to Vegas on Southwest. Glad I bought it when I did as it hasn't been lower than $300 since, as of this morning the same flights are $471.00 round trip!

Romo and Elite QB, now that is funny!

Not according to a discussion we had last football season. I'm not one to be the contrarian, so given the career stats that were posted, some were quite passionate that he is an elite quarterback since his regular season numbers are pretty good.

    - - - Updated - - -

This was hashed out last season. There's nothing comedic about my statement.
