Why are prices so high Oct 6 on the strip. I see no real big conventions and it's a Monday.

Oct 6 is a Tuesday but I agree, I see no reason why a Tuesday would be expensive. Is it all strip properties or one in particular?

Elton John is playing Oct 5-6 at Caesars, if that's where you were looking.

Oct 6th is a Tuesday. And yes, prices seem a bit high. Just looked at Mirage and that is the highest weeknight of the month.

Celebrate 2015 is from Oct 4th to the 6th. It's a tech start up tech conference for entrepreneurs, investors, etc. They also announce the Global start up of the Year at this conference. Winner gets a spot at CES. It is tied to the CEA which runs CES. I'll assume since it is being held downtown the strip is bumping the rates for the overflow and such.
