I'm heading to Vegas for a conference in September and since we're just a month away from my 40th (I feel much older!) my wife is joining me and we're staying a few extra days. The conference is at Aria and to save money for my company I booked at NYNY. I could have booked at Monte Carlo but I like NYNY and felt the uniqueness of it is a good first place to stay for my co-worker who has never been before. Once the conference is done my co-worker is moving to Bellagio because he remembers me talking about the fountain view rooms from my last trip. My wife and I, since we've stayed at many places have decided to just keep the room at NYNY. My wife intends to spend some time at the pool while I'm at the conference and I am wondering what is the pool scene like at NYNY? We're not the wild party types and she'll just want to lounge by the pool and maybe take a bit of a dip. We stayed at NYNY before and the pool was closed, but the hot tubs were open because it was windy and cold. We were the only people to use the hot tub and the lifegaurd said "What, are y'all from Canada or something"... lol. "Actually, yes we are!". What was funny about that trip is we live in a place that is typically windy and while we were in Vegas with temperatures of 50 and gusty winds, back home was calm as can be and unseasonably high temperatures! So, what is the pool scene like at NYNY? Party-ish? Relaxing?
