So I just got the $50 myVegas drink comp to use next week. Is there always a cover? I just want to get a few drinks in the afternoon, don't really care about the pianos. Would love to hear some recent reviews of this place, I'm seeing mixed reviews elsewhere.

Nope, no cover charge. It's an ideal place to go have a few quick ones in the afternoon, imo. It's not the sort of place I would make an evening of.

My girlfriend and I went after the zumanity show one evening to do the 50 dollar deal. It was fun more because of the people that were there and met. Also the bartender was nice and covered our last round of drinks after it went above the 50 dollar limit.

Another nice thing is you can actually go the outside of the bar and order drinks. they will let you run a tab with your $50 (when I did it it was $75) and you can keep coming back until close to use it. So you can walk around the casino, play some games if you wanted, then come back and grab a drink, then repeat.

Used it last week. We sat at the outside bar that is off of the casino floor. Bartenders were very nice and gave us an extra round as well. If you don't mind playing video poker they have them in the bar top and will comp your drinks anyways. I was playing 25 cents per hand and milking the drinks while my GF used the bar tab. Ended up $10 on the video poker too which helped towards the tip!

I got this one off MyVegas as well. Trying to decide if I should use it during the day or attempt during the Dueling Pianos. What time do you need to arrive and what is the table situation like? Does the cover start at 8?
