Okay, have read the post three times and not figure out what you are saying. Maybe it is the three wines I had.

Are you saying you can get NYE but can not, or can not get it but want to, or are going but shouldn't it or are just working on March?

Op is saying there are 6 comped nights available over NYE but can't make the trip.
    Not to worry sybgal.
I have been to Las Vegas many times over NYE.Unless you are going to one of the casino extravaganzas on NYE you are not missing much except:
overcrowded airport, jammed hotels and casinos, cranked up table limits, super long taxi lines, sold out shows, and hard to find dining reservations.
Not sure of your age but if your over 25 you don't want to be on the strip as it becomes Bourbon Street on Fat Tuesday.
    I did it once.Enough!!
With all that said,if you are invited to one of the parties at a casino, they are usually the biggest, best party of the year.Just stay at your hotel on NYE.
