their new black crown beer is pretty damn tasty !!
anyone else tried this yet ?
tried to get some at the casinos in tunica , but they as of yet do not carry it
since I really like this beer my bet is that they will discontinue it for slow sales after bout a year

I ordered one about a year ago. The bartender waited for me to try it. He took it back and said that was the usual reaction. The bar no longer carries it.

In fairness to you, I'm a saison and IPA drinker.

I've tried it before, and think it's alright. But yeah, I sorta doubt any place in Tunica would have it. Beer selection is not good there at all. Sam's Town has Bud Light platinum I think, so it's possible they would have black crown, but I wouldn't count on it either. Sam's town is nice though because they at least have 9/6 JoB at the bar.

Resorts used to have Sierra Nevada for awhile, but got rid of it...:grrr:

Due to your statement and recommendation, I will pick up a sixer at my next shopping trip.
I just had a couple of Sam Adam's Chocolate Cherry Porters and I have to say they are quite tasty. I'm glad to see they dropped that gawdawful cranberry beer from their winter selection.

Chocolate Cherry.......has potential. My fav Sam Adams is the Cherry Wheat. I will check at my club Sat to see if we still have that Bud Black still. Like I said if its the one I am thinking of it was decent.

Sapphire is total crap. Beck's is off my radar since AB InBev started brewing it in St. Louis. They do make a decent Oktoberfest though.

Right now, I'm smitten with Victory Brewing's DirtWolf, its a Double IPA that has an incredible flavor and balance. If you see this on tap or in a bottle, grab one as I think this might not be around too long. Flying Fish Brewing also makes a great Double IPA, called Exit 16.

No, this is more of an amber color.

DirtWolf is a new beer. It is supposed to be a permanent, year round available DIPA. Around here, it flies off the shelf in about a week, so it seems hard to find, but there should be more on the way.

Try the new Longtrail Limbo, if it's available in your area. Another new, delicious, affordable IPA.
